Do you cover all of Wimbledon, or just the Village?

All of it — Wimbledon Village and the hill, Wimbledon Park, the Broadway and town centre, South Wimbledon and Colliers Wood, plus Raynes Park and Merton Park. We work the whole of SW19 and SW20 and the Merton streets around them.

Can you handle a move up in the Village, with the narrow lanes and the hill?

Yes — that access is exactly what we plan for. We look at Wimbledon Hill Road, the conservation-area lanes and any parking restrictions before the day, and choose the right size of vehicle so we’re not stuck reversing a big Luton down a lane that won’t take one.

How do you work out the price?

From a proper survey — in person or by video — of what you’re actually moving and the access at both ends. You then get a clear written quote. We don’t give a number over the phone and hope, and we never show a price before we understand the job.

Do you move offices and businesses as well as homes?

We do. Offices, studios and units around the Broadway, Centre Court and the A24 business patches — planned around your trading hours, with IT and equipment handled and reconnected, and storage for anything surplus.

Can you store our things if there’s a gap between homes?

Yes. Clean, secure storage sized to what you’re keeping — a few boxes or a whole house during a chain delay — and we can fold move-and-store into one booking so the same team handles both ends.

Do you move abroad, or only around SW London?

Both. Alongside local removals we run planned road moves from Wimbledon to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, with the customs paperwork handled for you. It’s surveyed and packed the same way as a local job.

How far ahead should we book?

The earlier the better, especially over the summer. Wimbledon gets busy around The Championships fortnight, when road closures and parking pressure near the All England Club make certain streets harder to work — if your move lands in late June or July, tell us early and we’ll plan around it. For most moves, get in touch as soon as you have a likely date and we’ll hold it.

Does The Championships affect a summer move in SW19?

It can. During the tennis fortnight the streets around the All England Club and Wimbledon Park see closures, controlled parking and heavy traffic. It doesn’t stop us moving you — we just plan the route and the loading window around it, and we’ll flag it when we survey if your address sits inside the affected area.

Do you pack for us, or do we pack ourselves?

Whichever you prefer. We can pack the whole home with proper materials and a labelled inventory, pack only the fragile things and leave the rest to you, or supply materials so you can do it yourself. Unpacking at the other end is available too.

Can you take apart and rebuild furniture?

Yes — beds, wardrobes, flat-pack units, table legs, that sort of thing. We dismantle what needs dismantling to get it out safely and reassemble it in the right room at the other end.

What about a mansion block or a new-build with a lift and a loading bay?

Common in Wimbledon Park, off the Broadway and in Colliers Wood. We book the lift and loading bay ahead of time, check any porter or concierge rules, and time the load so we’re not competing with other residents for the one bay.

Are you insured?

Yes, our moves are fully insured. We’ll confirm the cover in writing with your quote, and if you’re moving anything unusually valuable — artwork, a piano, antiques — tell us and we’ll make sure it’s handled and covered properly.

Do you do small jobs, or only whole houses?

Small jobs too. A single room, a few big items, a student move or a quick collection — that’s our man-and-van service, with a driver and a van sized honestly to the job rather than a full crew you don’t need.

How quickly will you come back with a quote?

Once we’ve got your details and, where needed, done a survey, we’ll get a written quote back to you promptly — usually within a working day or two. Send as much detail as you can and it’s quicker.

What happens with customs when we move to Europe?

We handle it. Since Brexit a UK-to-EU household move needs the right paperwork — an inventory, the transit and customs documents, and proof of residence for relief where it applies. We prepare and manage that as part of the move so you’re not left working it out at a border.

Can you move us from somewhere other than Wimbledon?

Yes. Wimbledon is our base and our home patch, but for European moves in particular we collect from across the UK — London, Brighton, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and beyond. Just tell us the pickup address.

Planning a move in or out of Wimbledon?

Send us the details and we’ll come back with a clear, no-obligation quote — read by a person, not a calculator.
